Adult Basic Education Authorization
Adult Basic Education Authorization certification is issued through Educator Licensing at the Colorado Department of Education. The ABEA is obtained through documented evidence and demonstrated competency in foundational knowledge in the field of adult basic education and family literacy. A bachelor's degree in any subject is required to register for these certificate courses.

to the learning experience. This four-course certificate provides instruction and experience in state-of-the-art
learning technology options that can be used to enhance instruction in both face-to-face and distance settings.
All course projects are designed so you can adapt them to your current work environment or future goals in
the classroom.
